“ What a lovely and completely unexpected experience in Dillon! On our way to Charleston, we were looking for a stop to have lunch and my wife found that little place 5 minutes away from the freeway. They serve southern food in a buffet-style fashion. The place itself is a little dated but who cares! People were warm, lovely and welcoming. Food was really good! We felt like a friend or family member had invited us over lunch. It’s quick, efficient and they even have warm brownies and ice cream for dessert! I couldn’t recommend it more. ”

Sidney’s replaced the former Charcoal Grill Restaurant about 5 months ago. My favorites: fried chicken, chicken and dumplings and coconut cake. We met the owner, Mr. Boatwright, and the manager, Brooks. Both were extremely cordial. Highly recommended. ”
